Apparently she was in Transamerica, Transamerican Love Story, does some rather famous (at least to us M2Fs) voice coaching DVDs, and built an enormous website called TS Roadmap. She is also involved in TransYouth Family Allies.

Vicky is openly transgender and would, in the words (and endorsement) of the the San Francisco Bay Guardian, "make history." Vicky Kolakowski has been actively engaged in the LGBT community for a number of years and would gain a unique opportunity to educate the legal system about transgenders; a legal system that often interacts with us through all points of transition.
